  Mrs. Edna M. Sowerbrower, 80, Hollsopple RD 1, died Feb. 10, 1980, at
  Lee Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 7, 1899 in Jenner Township,
  Somerset County, she was a daughter of Levi J. and Rebecca (Griffith)
  Gindlesperger.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harry E., who
  died June 22, 1966; sister, Mrs. Mary Mack; brothers, Robert M. and
  the Rev. J. Earl; and half-brothers, Harvey Gindlesperger and Russell
  Winters; also several infant brothers and sisters.  Survived by these
  children: Elma, at home; Robert, married to the former Margaret Dill,
  of Dillsburg; Sara, wife of William Lambert, Sante Fe, N.M.; James,
  married to the former Anna Marie Popernack; and Edith, wife of Merle
  DeMarco, both of Jennerstown; and eight grandchildren.  She was a
  sister of Annie, wife of Homer Shaffer, Boswell RD 1; and Edith,
  widow of Walter Yoder, Hollsopple RD 2.  Member of Laurel Trinity
  Lutheran Church, Jennerstown.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
  and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home 409 Main St.,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev.
  Jesse E. Wolf officiating.  Interment, St. James Cemetery.
