    James E. Sowerbrower, 61, W. Pitt St., Jennerstown, died Jan 10,
  2000 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 18, 1938 in
  Jenner Township, son of the late Harry E. and Edna M. (Gindlesperger)
  Sowerbrower.  Survived by wife, the former Anna Marie
  Popernack-Loftus, stepson, John P. Loftus, Jr., and
  step-granddaughter, Marlee Ann Loftus, both of Somerset.  Brother of
  Elma G. Sowerbrower, Hollsopple RD, Robert E., and wife Clara, Camp
  Hill, Sara Lambert White, Albuquerque, N.M., and Edith L., married to
  Merle DeMarco, Jennerstown.  Also survived by numerous nieces and
  nephews.  Member of the former St. James Lutheran Church and the
  Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Dept.  Employee of Johnstown America Corp.
  for over 28 years.  Observed 26th wedding anniversary, May 4, 1999. 
  Avid NASCAR fan.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday
  at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service will
  be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, the Rev. William G. Triebe
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Firemens service will be
  held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.  Memorial
  contributions may be sent to Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Dept.,
  Jennerstown, Pa., 15547.
