Spahr, 27, of Winfield, Md., was electrocuted Saturday when a CB antenna he was installing fell against a power line there. A native of Kingwood, W.Va., he was a son of Harry and Elthea (Porter) Spahr, RD 4. Also surviving are his widow, Elaine (Schrieder) Spahr; a brother, James Spahr, RD 4; three sisters, Mrs. Peggy Martin, Hampstead, Md.; Mrs. Phyllis Green, Mt. Airy, Md., and Mrs. Marlene Speelman, Terra Alta. The body was at the Price Funeral Home. A service was conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church. Rev. Ronald Bowers officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery. The body was taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Meyersdale Republic, July 29, 1976 [S2433]
