  SPANGLER
  
  Andrew J. Spangler, 94, Somerset, died September 11, 1977, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born July 10, 1883, in Milford
  Township, son of John and Matilda (Brant) Spangler.  He was preceded
  in death by his wife, the former Edith Snyder, and two sons.  He is
  survived by a son, J. Robert, Somerset; one grandson, and four
  great-grandchildren.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Somerset.  Friends received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m.
  Tuesday, the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment, New
  Centerville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to
  the Berlin Home for the Aged.
