  SPANGLER
  
  Mrs. Bessie V. Spangler, 85, of Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown,
  died Feb. 28, 1979.  Born April 21, 1893, in Stonycreek Township,
  daughter of Joe and Ida (Spangler) Walker.  Preceded in death by
  parents; first husband, Abram R. Wilson, in 1918; second husband,
  Lewis C. Spangler, in 1972; sons, Robert and William Wilson;
  step-son, Robert Spangler; brother, Milton Walker; half-brother, Joe
  Custer.  Survived by son, Clark Wilson of Johnstown; sister, Mrs.
  Kathryn Gohn of Lambertsville; daughter-in-law, Ida Wilson of
  Somerset; step-daughters-in-law, Louise Murdock of Florida and
  Bernice Spangler of Cincinnati, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 17
  great-grandchildren.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. 
  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2
  p.m. Friday with the Rev. H. James Meyers.  Interment, Walker
  Cemetery, Shanksville.
