  SPANGLER
  
  Catherine M. Spangler, 91, Allegheny Lutheran Home, Johnstown,
  formerly of Shanksville, died March 27, 1982, at Memorial Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born Jan. 9, 1891, in Stonycreek Township, daughter of
  Charles and Jane (Stutzman) Duppstadt.  Preceded in death by parents;
  brothers: Norbert, John and Clarence; and sister, Blanche.  Survived
  by husband, Frank "Tanker", of the Allegheny Lutheran Home, whom she
  married on May 29, 1912.  She was a sister of Henry and Mrs. Margaret
  Lambert, both of Stoystown RD 3, and Wilson of Stoystown RD 2.  She
  was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Shanksville.  Family
  received friends Sunday and will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and
  7-9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Dale Biesecker
  officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
