  SPANGLER
  
  Donald C. Spangler, 82, Hollsopple RD 1, died May 22, 1978 in the
  Altoona Veterans Hospital.  Born April 7, 1896 in Quemahoning
  Township, he was a son of Frank and Agnes (Murray) Spangler. 
  Preceded in death by parents, six brothers and three sisters. 
  Survived by sister, Mrs. Anna Myers, Cleveland, Ohio; and
  sister-in-law, Mrs. Mayme Spangler Reckner, with whom he resided. 
  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown.  He was a WW
  I veteran and was retired from PennDOT.  Family will receive friends
  7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Friday, with the Rev. Jeff Welsh officiating.  Interment, Oddfellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
