  SPANGLER
  
    Dorothy Spangler, 78, Somerset Towers, died Aug. 15, 1997, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 17, 1919, in Philipsburg.  Daughter of
  the late James and Elizabeth (Moore) Hugg.  Also preceded in death by
  first husband, Jack Reeder; second husband, Ray Spangler, and
  daughter, Nancy Jane.  Survived by two sons, John Spangler, Solomons
  Island, Md., and Barry Spangler of Annapolis, Md.; grandchildren:
  Jason of Odenton, Md.; Christopher, Greenbelt, Md.; Gwen Deakins,
  Somerset, and John J., San Diego, Calif., and James, Somerset.  Also
  a great-grandson, Neil.  Also brother-in-law, Forest Spangler and
  wife Shirley, Somerset.  Member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church,
  Somerset, and auxiliary to Meyersdale Elks.  Attended Ryder
  College.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today
  (Monday) at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will
  be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Keith McCaig Fink
  officiating.  Interment, Philipsburg Cemetery.
