  Ethel Rose Knupp Spangler, 93, of Greensburg, formerly of Somerset,
  died March 15, 1997, at St. Ann's Nursing Home, Greensburg.  Born May
  25, 1903, in Rockwood, daughter of late Calvin and Ella (Kreger)
  Rush.  Preceded in death by first husband, John Rose; second husband,
  Harry Knupp, and third husband, Homer Spangler.  Survived by daughter,
  Gladys Allen, Greensburg.  Member of first United Methodist Church,
  Somerset.  Past grand worthy matron of Order of Eastern Star,
  Somerset.  First person to retire from DeVilbiss Company of
  Somerset.  Friends were received Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at
  2:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Interment,
  Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
