  SPANGLER
  
  Frederick D. Spangler, 51, of Somerset RD 5, died Aug. 25, 1985, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born Jan. 13, 1934, in Somerset,
  son of the late Jack E. and Alda (Stutzman) Spangler.  Survived by his
  wife, the former Cathy Stahl, a daughter, Jennifer Jean, at home; a
  brother, Robert of Michigan; and a half-brother, Donald Koontz,
  Somerset RD 5.  He was a member of the First Christian Church,
  F.O.E., American Legion, V.F.W. and Somerset Country Club.  Veteran
  of the Korean War.  He was an employee of Columbia Gas Company of
  Pennsylvania.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home
  where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
  Gene Sellers officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
