  SPANGLER
  
  Helen J. Spangler, 80 of Berlin, died Feb. 11, 1994, at Meyersdale
  Manor.  Born Dec. 12, 1913, in Berlin, daughter of Frank and
  Elizabeth (Hudson) Barr.  Preceded in death by parents, husband,
  Merle "Chal" sisters: Philomena Latta, and Jean Carnell, and brother,
  Frank Jr.  Survived by sister, Lorain "Sis" Kelly of Greensburg;
  several nieces and nephews: and sister-in-law, Mary Glessner, of
  Berlin.  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, and Berlin
  Fire Company Auxiliary.  She volunteered for meals on wheels for many
  years.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where service will be held 2 p.m. Monday,
  Rev. Melvin A. Kirk Jr.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery. 
  Memorial contributions may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Berlin.
