  SPANGLER
  
    Lloyd L. Spangler, 70, Stoystown, died Nov. 8, 1994 at VA Medical
  Center, Pittsburgh.  Born July 9, 1924 in Stoystown, son of Charles
  Gary and Clara (Manges) Spangler.  Preceded in death by parents;
  brothers, William, Lewis, Clyde, Robert and Thomas and sisters, Ada
  Burdette and Elsie Berry.  Survived by wife of 48 years, the former
  Dorothy Speicher, and these children: Gary J., married to the former
  Vickie Walls and Mrs. David (Sharon) Fox, both of Stoystown; and
  David, married to the former Debbie Shaffer of Hollsopple; 7
  grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Alice
  Bennett, Clarksburg, W.Va., and Helen Naugle, Hollsopple.  World War
  II Navy Veteran.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church and Robert P. Hite
  Post 257 American Legion, both of Stoystown.  Life member of Jenner
  Rod and Gun Club.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Paul
  Claycomb and Jane Metzgar officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the
  American Diabetes Association, 116 South Allegheny St., Bellefonte,
  Pa., 16823.  American Legion memorial service at 8 p.m. Friday.
