MARCELLUS SPANGLER

  Marcellus Spangler died suddenly at his home, Meyersdale, R.D. 1, on Monday, 
Sept. 15, as the result of a heart attack.
  He was born in Stoystown, Feb. 15, 1902, a son of Robert and Eliza Jane 
(Hummel) Spangler and was aged 45 years and 7 months at the time of his death.
  Surviving are his wife, Lucille (Miller) Spangler, and these children: Mrs. 
Jesse Smith, Meyersdale; Wilbur, Ralph, Flornell, Betty Allen, Charles and Sara 
Jane; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Blansett, Stoystown, and Mrs. Harry Wiltrout, of 
the state of Washington.
  Funeral services were held at the Price Funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon, 
Sept. 17, Rev. Floyd Gotjen officiating.  Interment was made in the I.O.O.F. 
Cemetery, Stoystown, under the direction of W. C. Price & Son.
