Spangler, 86, formerly of 713 Fairmont Avenue, died Wednesday, July 15, 1987 in the Frostburg Village Nursing Home. She had resided there for two years. Born in Confluence, April 22, 1901, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle (Woodmancey) Fisher. Mrs. Spangler was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was active in church social events. Her husband, William Oscar Spangler, died in 1978. Surviving are one son, C. William Spangler, Frederick, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda S. Kraus, Cumberland, Md.; six grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Friends were received in the George-Upchurch Funeral Home.
