  SPANGLER
  
    Ray M. Spangler, 61, Roofgarden Heights, Somerset RD 7, died Jan.
  9, 1978 in his residence.  Born Jan. 12, 1916 in Somerset, he was the
  son of Guy Sr. and Grace (Cook) Spangler.  He was preceded in death by
  his parents; one sister, Virginia; and one brother, Guy Jr.  Survived
  by his wife, Dorothy Hugg Spangler; and two sons, John A., St. Mary
  City, Md.; and Barry J., Cape St. Claire, Md.; five grandchildren; a
  brother and sister:  Betty Henry, Rockwood; and Forest E.,
  Somerset.  He was a member and past exulted ruler of Meyersdale Elks
  Lodge, 1951, Meyersdale.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9
  Tuesday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  Meyersdale Elks Lodge will conduct memorial services Tuesday at 7:30
  p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the
  Walter A. Beezer Funeral Home, Philipsburg, Pa,. The Rev. Carl Gray
  officiating.  Family will receive friends at the Beezer Funeral Home
  7-9 p.m. Wednesday.  Interment, Philipsburg Cemetery.
