Spangler, 66, of Somerset RD 5, died Jan. 2, 1973, at Somerset Community Hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1906, in Fairhope a son of the late James and Mary (Spaugy) Spangler. Preceded in death by parents, and one brother, Walter. Survived by his wife, the former Hazel Wadsworth, one brother, Gilbert Spangler of Listie; three sisters: Mrs. Harry (Lottie) Sarver of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Irvin (Viola) Trent of Friedens RD 2; and Mrs. Leroy (Sarah) Foust of Friedens RD 1. He was a carpenter by occupation and member of the Brotherton Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. (today) Wednesday in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.
