  MRS. FRANK SPEAR
  
    Mrs. Period B. Spear, 88, of Accident RD 1, Md., died Nov. 18, 1978
  in Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born in Elder Hill, she was a daughter of the late Willim [sic] and
  Martha (Spear) Steele.  Her husband, Frank Spear, preceded her in
  death.
    She attended Grace Brethren Church.
    Surviving are a son, Raymond Spear, McHenry, Md.; two daughters,
  Miss Ruth H. Spear and Mrs. Rachel Shuttleworth, both of Accident; a
  brother, Reuben Steele, Castro Valley, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle
  Ferrier, Lindsay, Calif.; six grandchildren and five
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville,
  Md., where services were conducted by the Rev. Walter Fike,
  Meyersdale.  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
