  RALPH E. SPEAR
  
    Ralph E. Spear, 62, of Accident, Md., died Jan. 30, 1975, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    A native of Friendsville, he was a son of Mrs. Period (Steele)
  Spear, Accident, and the late Frank Spear.
    He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Accident American
  Legion Post 208 and the first [sic] Grace Brethren Church there.
    Also surviving are his wife, the former Vera Brant; a son, David K.
  Spear, Accident; a brother, Raymond Spear, McHenry; and two sisters,
  Miss Ruth Spear and Mrs. Rachael Shuttleworth, also of Accident.
    Funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon in Newman Funeral
  Home, Friendsville, with Rev. John W. Lancaster officiating. 
  Interment in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
