  SPECHT

    Mary M. Specht, 90, Jennerstown, formerly of Stoystown, died Dec.
  2, 1988, at White Star Residence.  Born Feb. 23, 1898, in Elk Lick
  Township, daughter of Norman and Anna (Hoffmeyer) Christner. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Donald C.; four sisters and a
  brother.  Survived by sister, Sadie Weaver of Stoystown; numerous
  nieces and nephews, including Margaret Crisafulli of Davidsville. 
  Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown, and was a
  former telephone operator in Stoystown.  Family will receive friends
  from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Karyl J.
  Leslie officiating.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
