    Nelle C. Specht, 90, Stoystown, died May 16, 1990, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Sept. 24, 1899, in Johnstown, daughter of
  the late John H. and Izora (Sachs) Custer.  Preceded in death by
  husband, Lloyd A.; sisters, Edith Llewellyn, Sadie Morgart, Minnie
  Bole, and brothers, Dr. Charles, Dr. Russell, Peter, John and William
  Custer.  Survived by daughters, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Hyde, Pittsburgh,
  and Mrs. Richard (Gloria) Stetler, Stoystown; granddaughters, Mrs.
  Gilbert (Sherry) Mendelson, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Jeffrey (Lee Anne)
  Snook, Bowling Green, Ohio; grandsons, Richard H. Stetler Jr.,
  married to the former Sherrie Kingsborough, Denver, Pa., and Bradley
  S. Stetler, married to the former Susanne Miller, Richmond, Vt.;
  great-granddaughters, Meredith Mendelson, Jennica and Katelyn
  Stetler; step-great-grandchildren, Dorri, Jodi and Adam; nephews, Dr.
  J.F. Morgart, Boca Raton, Fla., Robert Morgart, Johnstown, Winfield
  Llewellyn, Wilmington, Del., and niece, Mrs. Jack (Ruth) Hess,
  Whispering Pines, N.C.  Former horsewoman and lover of God's great
  outdoors.  Lifelong member of St. Paul's UCC, Stoystown.  No viewing
  at the request of the deceased.  Family will receive friends from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service
  will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Karyl J. Leslie. 
  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.  Family request memorial
  contributions to St. Paul's UCC, Stoystown.
