    Bernice I. Speicher, 90 of Meyersdale, died October 23, 2008 at Meyersdale Medical
  Center. 
    She was born July 13, 1918 in Stonycreek Twp., daughter of the late Norman and
  Francis (Barmoy) Saylor. Also preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jean Reckner; son,
  Jay B. Speicher; and grandson, Jeffrey Speicher.       She is survived by her
  husband, Richard Dale Speicher; grandchildren: Sandy L. Zeigler, South Mountain; Richard
  B. Speicher and his wife Michelle, Etters; and David A. Speicher and his wife Adrienne,
  Etters.   Also survived by five great grandchildren. A sister of Mona Wilson,
  Dallastown; and Charlotte Daugherty, Leesburg, FL. 
    She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Meyersdale. 
    Bernice owned and operated her own beauty salon in Meyersdale for many years. 
    Friends will be received at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home
  Meyersdale, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev. Frank E. Harpster
  III officiating. Interment Meyersdale Area Union Cemetery.
