  ELIZABETH M. SPEICHER
  
    Mrs. Elizabeth M. Speicher, 98, of Rockwood, died Aug. 26, 1975, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 16, 1877, in Lincoln Township,
  she was a daughter of Levi and Mary Ann (Rhodes) Berkey.  She was
  preceded in death by two sons, Orlo and Clark, and these brothers and
  sisters: Solomon K., Samuel M., L. Clayton, Harvey, Mrs. Annie
  Hemminger and Mrs. Amy Kline.
    Surviving are three children, Mrs. Viola Walker, Somerset; Ernest,
  Johnstown; and Mrs. Irene Isbell, Rockwood; also eight grandchildren
  and nine great-grandchildren.
    Mrs. Speicher was a member of United Church of Christ, Rockwood;
  Forbes Road Chapter of DAR; WBA; Rebekah Lodge of Rockwood; National
  Retired Teachers Association; Rockwood Firemen's Auxiliary and Senior
  Citizens.  She was a retired school teacher and a former Sunday School
  teacher.
    Funeral service was held Thursday afternoon, Aug. 28, in Richard E.
  Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev. Clarence Moore officiating.
