Speicher of 3 Holly Drive, Leola, formerly of Lancaster and Jennerstown, died of natural causes Feb. 27, 2002 in the Community Hospital of Lancaster after a brief illness. Born in Friedens, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Shank Stull. Preceding her in death were her husband, the late Robert W. Speicher, who died in 1953; brothers, Clarence and Robert Stull; and sisters, Florence Boyles, Pearl Barron, Myrtle Smith, and Ruth Snyder. Survived by a son, Donald, married to Carole Speicher of Leola, two step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. She worked as a file clerk for Ross Technology, Leola, from 1973-1988. Earlier she worked as an assembler for RCA, Lancaster, and the Schick Co., Lancaster. She was a member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, near Gray. A homemaker, she also enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City, N.J. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday the time of service at Mt. Laurel U.C.C. near Gray. Interment will follow in Beam Cemetery. Memorials to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, Pa. 17603. Arrangements by Furman Home for Funerals, Leola.
