  HELEN L. SPEICHER
  
  Helen L. Speicher, 82, of Berlin, died Aug. 9, 1989 at Maple Mountain
  Manor.  She was born March 14, 1907, in Somerset Township, daughter of
  Frank and Frances (Nader) Landsman.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, James U.; daughter, Virginia; brothers: Vincent, Frank,
  Augustus and George; sisters: Amy Shaulis, Mary Buratty and Fanny
  Landsman.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Jack (Frances) Stern, of
  Glen Burnie, Md.; Mrs. Harold (Charlotte) Mann, Lanham, Md.; and
  Arlene Walters of New Baltimore; six grandchildren and five
  great-grandchildren.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
  Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will be held at
  11 a.m. Saturday.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
