A daughter of Alexander and Anna (Miller) Speicher, she was born in Somerset, March 8, 1879. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Amanda Engle, of Vandergrift; two nieces and two nephews. Her body was brought to Meyersdale and prepared for burial at the Price Funeral Home, where it remained until Thursday afternoon, when it was taken to the St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church, and lay in state until 2:30, when funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Dr. Fisher of Vandergrift, assisted by Rev. George E. Ely. Interment was made in the St. Paul Cemetery. The body was accompanied to Meyersdale by the surviving sister, Mrs. Amanda Engle, and daughters, Miss Helen Engle and Mrs. Robert Livengood and a daughter and grandson of the latter.
