Death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mr. Sperry, known here as Clay Sperry, was born September 22, 1879, the son of Joshua and Dora (Altmiller) Sperry. He is survived by the following children: Charles and George of Salisbury, Pa.; Russell, James and Mary of Meyersdale, and Mrs. Elizabeth Porter of Cumberland, Md.; also by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Herman Deitle, Salisbury RD; Mrs. Hugh Morrison, Ridgely, W.Va.; Mrs. Bert Kidner, Meyersdale; Palmer of Zihlman, Md.; Harry of Frostburg; Melvin of Clairton, Pa., George of Connellsville, and Benjamin of Meyersdale. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 13, in the Hafer Funeral Home. Services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Fairfield of the Nazarene Church. Interment was made in Eckhart, Md., cemetery.
