    Ethel S. Spiker, 77, of Markleton RD 1 died May 6, 1997, at home. 
  Born Nov. 13, 1919, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township.  Daughter of the
  late Charles and Jenny (Ohler) May.  Preceded in death by husband,
  Joseph Spiker; close friend, Ray Mickel; brothers Joe, John, Bill,
  Harry, Wilbur, George and Daniel and sisters Pearl Tressler, Mary
  King and Ida Pletcher.  Also several stepchildren.  Survived by close
  friend, Lloyd Hampe of Markleton RD 1; stepdaughters: Mrs. Robert
  (Kitty) Berkey and Sue Yost, both of Boswell, and numerous nieces,
  nephews and step-grandchildren.  Member of Old Bethel Church of
  God.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, where funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Saturday, Rev. Douglas Baker officiating.  Interment, Kingwood IOOF
  Cemetery.
