  SPINA
  
  Virginia (Palomba) Spina, 56, of Roanoke, Va., formerly of Boswell,
  died Oct. 5, 1979, at Roanoke General Hospital.  Born Oct. 8, 1922,
  in Ellsworth, Pa., daughter of the late Helen (Campea) and William C.
  Palomba Sr.  Also preceded in death by a sister, Edith Rigo.  Survived
  by her husband, Achilles J. Spina, of Roanoke, Va.; sister, Ethel,
  wife of Frank Romeo, of Johnstown; brother, William Palomba Jr., of
  Somerset; sister, Mary Jane, wife of John Reese, Somerset.  Funeral
  Mass was said at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Roanoke, at 11:15 a.m.
  Monday, with the Rev. J. Scott Duarte.  Interment, St. Andrew's
  Cemetery.
