  David A. Spory, 31, Boswell RD 1, died Dec. 29, 1980, at home of
  parents.  Born March 4, 1949, in Johnstown, son of Leon D. and Laura
  S. (Shaffer) Spory.  Survived by parents, Boswell RD 1; widow, former
  Cheryl Hoffman; three children: Christine Ann, Timothy Paul and
  Jennifer Kate, all at home.  Brother of: Laura Lee, wife of Paul
  Spiker, Hollsopple RD 2; Phillip Joseph, married to former Joann
  Zonin, Toms River, N.J.; Rosalie Gail, Boswell RD 1.  Member of UMWA
  and employee of G.M.& W. Coal Co. Grove 1 Mine.  Friends received
  from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St.,
  Boswell, where private service will be held at the convenience of the
  family, the Rev. Arthur L. Mentzer.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
