  SPORY
  
    James E. Spory, 64, Boswell RD 1, died June 11, 1990, at Memorial
  Hospital.  Born Dec. 11, 1925, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset
  County, son of John E. and Linnie (Rhoads) Spory.  Preceded in death
  by parents and granddaughter, Katrina Lee Thomas.  Survived by wife,
  former Bernice Lehman; daughter, Doris E., wife of Mark G. Thomas,
  and son, John E., married to former Mary Vincent, both of Boswell RD
  1; grandchildren: Susie and Beth Thomas, and Rachel and Nathan
  Spory.  Brother of Alfred, married to former Evelyn Saylor, Hanover;
  Dorothy, wife of Luke Weimer, Johnstown, and Dorcas, wife of George
  Friedline, New Martinsville, W. Va.  Member of Benscreek Lutheran
  Church, where he was past treasurer of Sunday School and a former
  councilman.  Prominent life-long dairy farmer in Conemaugh
  Township.  Observed 42nd wedding anniversary June 6, 1990.  Friends
  received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell.  Service
  at 11 a.m. Thursday at Benscreek Church, where viewing will also be
  held from 10 a.m. until time of service, Rev. Lloyd T. Wilson. 
  Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery.  Memorials to Benscreek
  Lutheran Church, Hollsopple RD 2, would be appreciated.
