  SQUYRES
  
    William L. Squyres, 81, Lorain, Ohio, died Aug. 6, 2000.  He was
  born in Philadelphia and had resided in Lorain for the past 45
  years.  He served with the U.S. Army during World War II.  He worked
  as a baker and dairy route salesman.  He is survived by his wife
  Hazel (Saylor); daughter, Cheryl Stidham of Lorain and nephew,
  Richard Saylor of Amherst; one grandson; brother, Walter of
  Bethlehem, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in
  death by his parents, Otis and Louise (Checkers), brother Earl and
  sister Alice Goff.  Visitation from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, at
  Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain.  Funeral
  services at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3334
  Wilson St., Lorain.
