Mrs. Helen (Joyce) Stabile, 48, of Tarentum, formerly of Garrett, died April 22, 1975, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, where she was a patient for two weeks. Mrs. Stabile had been in failing health since last September. She was born in Garrett Feb. 22, 1927, a daughter of Mrs. Orpha (Grant) Joyce and the late Daniel Joyce. A 1945 graduate of Tarentum High School, she also attended Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing, in Natrona Heights, and was graduated from Franklin School of Practical Nursing, Pittsburgh Nursing, Pittsburgh, and of University of Pittsburgh Health Center as a laboratory technician. Mrs. Stabile was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Stabile Sr.; her mother; two sons, Thomas J. Jr. of Sarver and David J. of Tarentum; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Rita Ann) Miller of Meridian; three grandchildren; a brother, Daniel R. Joyce, with the U.S. Navy in Albuquerque, NM; and three sisters, Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Jankowski, Tarentum; Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Sherwood, El Paso, Texas; and Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Montoya, Freemont, Calif.
