Stacer, 68, expired suddenly last Friday afternoon while listening to the radio at the family home on High Street. He was a bachelor, the son of John and Mary Stacer, pioneer residents, and was born in Meyersdale December 26, 1875. A heart condition was ascribed as the cause of his death. For several years prior to his death he was the janitor of SS. Philip and James Church and took care of the church grounds. Surviving are two brothers, George, of Meyersdale, and Francis of Homestead, and five sisters - Mrs. Margaret Grabenstein, Cumberland, and Misses Annie, Esther, Clara and Lucy at home. Funeral mass was celebrated Monday morning in SS. Philip and James Church by his pastor, Rev. Father Houghton. Interment in the church cemetery. R. Hartle, Connellsville; Mr. and Mrs. George Weimer, Mr. and Mrs. James Darrow and Charles Darrow, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Weimer, Frostburg, Md.; Mrs. Adrian Blocher and Mrs. Grace Brown, Salisbury; Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Breig, Moween, Pa.; Mrs. Edward Weimer, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McKenzie and Anthony Weimer, Avilton, Md.; Dr. E.
