Stachel, 63, Fort Atkinson, Wis., formerly of Confluence, died Dec. 9, 1987, in Jefferson, Wis. Born July 7, 1924, in Addison Township, son of the late Albert and Goldie (Holliday) Stachel. Survived by his wife, Reba (Haynes) Stachel, and the following children: Edgar Garland, Addison; Ernest Wayne Garland, Fort Hill; William E. Stachel, Randy G. Stachel and Russell L. Stachel, all of Fort Atkinson, Wis.; Louise Stachel and Carla N. Rugg, both of Confluence; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three sisters. Preceded in death by a son and a grandson. Member of the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association and the Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev.
