  STAFFORD
  
    Robert Paul Stafford, 71, Alexandria, Va., died Jan. 3, 1997, at
  his home after a long illness.  Born April 30, 1925, in Garrett. 
  Survived by wife Donna Marie Leif, formerly of Meyersdale; and
  daughter, Anne Marie, at home.  Also brother William of Altoona,
  married to the former Nancy Jean Readman, Ebensburg; Lorene, Indian
  Lake, married to the late Albert Mock; and Mary, wife of Stanley
  Witt, Garrett.  Services were held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church,
  Alexandria, Va., at 1 p.m. Jan. 6.  Interment was at Mount Comfort
  Cemetery in Alexandria.
