   Catherine D. "Kay" Staffy, 93, Boswell, died April 20, 2008, at Meadow View Nursing
  Center, Berlin. Born Sept. 16, 1914, in Boswell, daughter of Joseph and Josephine
  (Dobosz) Staffy. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John, Mike, Chester, and Joseph;
  and sisters, Stella Tarnogrodzki and Mary, Jane and Mayme Staffy. Survived by sister,
  Helen, widow of A. J. Sauers, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; nieces, Dorothy Bobrowski, Sandra
  Macey, Darlene Rego and Joette Vargo and great-niece, Alyssia Rego. Member of All Saints
  Catholic Parish. Formerly employed by a restaurant in New York City and a defense plant
  in Detroit during World War II. She was a caregiver for her parents and her sisters. She
  enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and doing housework. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to
  8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell,
  where a vigil for the deceased will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass 10 a.m.
  Thursday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM, Conv.,
  celebrant. Committal St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell. Donations in Kay's memory may be
  sent to the All Saints Renovation Fund, 325 Quemahoning St., Boswell, PA 15531.
