Staffy, 61, 6 Coolidge, Edison, N.J., formerly of Boswell, died July 4, 1985, at home. Born July 16, 1923, in Boswell, son of Joseph and Josephine (Dobusz) Staffy. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John and Mike, and sister Stella Tarnogrodzki. Survived by widow, the former Betty Ann Lazur; two children: Felecia Darlene, wife of Ulisses Rigo, Rahway, N.J.; Joette Elaine, wife of Garry Vargo, Edison, N.J. Brother of: Helen, wife of A.J. Sauers, Detroit, Mich.; Joseph, married to the former Mae Johnson, Sacramento, Cal.; Mary, Kay, Mayme and Jane, all of Boswell. Member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Edison, and Edison Post 324, American Legion. Employed by Edison Board of Education. Army veteran of World War II, having served with the 3939th Battalion. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main St., Boswell, where wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at noon, Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell, with Father Alfred Evanoski, O.F.M. Conv. Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
