Born Feb. 22, 1877, in Poland, daughter of Joseph and Tekle (Niznik) Dobosz. Preceded in death by parents; husband Joseph, who died March 10, 1950; two sons: John, died Aug. 18, 1960, and Mike, died May 12, 1974. Survived by these children: Stella, wife of Frank Tarnogrodzki, West Park, McKees Rocks, Pa.; Helen, wife of A.J. Sauers, Detroit, Mich.; Joseph, married to former Mae Johnson, San Mateo, Calif.; Chester, married to former Betty Ann Lazier, Edison, N.J.; Mary, Kay, Mamie and Jane, all at home; four grandchildren. Long-time member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell. Eldest resident of Boswell area. Recipient of numerous congratulatory messages from presidents, governors, mayors, congressmen, representatives, various local organizations and the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and until 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday.
