Staffy, 87, Stonycreek Street, Boswell, died Nov. 14, 2003 at Somerset Hospital. Born Aug. 15, 1916, in Boswell, daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Dobosz) Staffy. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, John, Mike and Chester; and sisters, Stella Tarnogrodzki and Mary and Jane Staffy. Sister of Helen, widow of A. J. Sauers, St. Clair Shore, Mich.; Joseph, Sacramento, Calif. and Kay at home. Also survived by nieces, Sandra Macey, Joette Vargo, Dorothy Bobrowski and Darlene Rego and great-niece, Alyssia Rego. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Army veteran of World War II, having served in the WAC's. Retired employee of the former Dorfman and Hoffman Garment Factory. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Church, Boswell, the Rev. Father Justin A. Ratajczak, OFM Conv., celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
