    Dr. Carl Stahl, 75, of Meyersdale, died suddenly April 11, 1978, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born July 25, 1902, in Meyersdale, he
  was a son of the late Norman and Eliza (Gnagey) Stahl.
    He is survived by his widow, Ruth Beal, and two daughters: Doris,
  wife of Robert Knipple of Johnstown; and Eris, wife of Quinton
  Rininger, of New Paris RD 1; also four grandchildren and nine
  great-grandchildren.
    He was a brother of Harry, of Orlando, Fla.  He was a retired
  General Telephone Company employee and member of Meyersdale Church of
  the Brethren.
    Services were held April 13 at the Leckemby Funeral Home with the
  Rev. Bobby Phillips officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
