    Charles H. Stahl, 77, of West Sanner St., Somerset, died Jan. 25,
  1978, in Berlin.
    Born April 24, 1900, in Milford Township, he was a son of the late
  John J. and Fannie (Metzler) Stahl.
    He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Flora Pearl Egolf, and these
  children: Merle of Pittsburgh; Jean, wife of Richard Wilson of Sharon;
  and Glenn of Clyde, Ohio; and 13 grandchildren.  He was the brother
  of: Mrs. Ralph Egolf of Somerset; Mrs. Jennie Baker of Canton, Ohio;
  and David of Berlin.
    He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church and retiree of
  the Somerset Lumber Company.
    Friends were received in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were conducted Jan. 29, with the Rev. Theodore Cole
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
