    Chester Stahl, 72, of Long Branch, N.J., died April 19, 1989.  He
  was born July 30, 1916, in Quemahoning Township, son of the late John
  and Cora (Shaver) Stahl.  Survived by his wife, the former Katheryne
  Sobinsky; children: Lois Celentano of Lindhurst, N.J.; and Steven of
  Newark, Ohio; 5 grandsons.  He was a brother of Ruth Haas of Fort
  Lauderdale, Fla.; Wilma Peck and Helen Barron, both of Johnstown. 
  Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Long Branch.
