    Clark W. Stahl, 85, Somerset RD 3, died Jan. 13, 1987, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 28, 1901, in Somerset Township, a son
  of the late William G. and Binnie (Walker) Stahl.  Preceded in death
  by parents; sister, Anna (Stahl) Maust; and one grandson, Roger
  Stahl.  Survived by his wife, Etta (Hay) Stahl, and these children:
  Evelyn, wife of Robert Larimer, Johnstown; William H., married to the
  former Dorothy Speicher, Sebring, Fla.; Ernest E., married to the
  former Maxone Leer, Somerset RD 4; and George C., married to the
  former Audrey Egolf, Somerset RD 3; also, 15 grandchildren.  Lifelong
  member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran Church where he held various
  offices in the church and Sunday school.  Member of Somerset Grange
  No. 1697 for 40 years; member of Casebeer Cemetery Association; past
  president of FHA board; director of Highland Mutual Insurance of
  Berlin for 18 years; and lifelong farmer.  His death ends a marriage
  union of 63 years.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday
  (today) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home.  Funeral services Friday at 11 a.m. in Christ Casebeer
  Lutheran Church with Pastor George Walton officiating.  Interment,
  church cemetery.  Body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m.
  until the hour of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
  to the Cemetery Endowment Fund or Perpetual Care of Casebeer Cemetery.
