    Elmer L. Stahl, 83, Somerset RD 5, died Feb. 25, 1995, in his
  home.  Born Feb. 20, 1912, in Somerset County, son of the late Albert
  R. and M. Ellen (Brougher) Stahl.  Survived by wife, Susan (Shumaker)
  Stahl; daughter, Alice, wife of George E. Gary, Berlin RD 4, and 2
  grandchildren, Brian and Kristen Sue.  Member of Somerset Church of
  the Brethren.  Retired employee of Somerset State Hospital.  Death
  terminates a marriage union of 54 years.  Friends received from 7 to
  9 p.m. Monday (today) at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, with Rev. Roger L.
  Forry.  Interment, Weller Cemetery.
