Fourth Street, Apollo, Pa., died August 4, 1977, at 3 p.m. in the Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. He was born January 27, 1920, in Vandergrift, Pa., to Josiah W. Stahl, Sr. and Mary (Daniels) Stahl. Mr. Stahl was a member of the Church of God, North Apollo. He was the former pastor of the Nanty Glo and Sipesville Church of God. He was employed at the Allegheny Ludlum Steel Company, West Leechburg, for 32 years as a craneman. He has lived in the Apollo and Vandergrift area most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Estella (Cramer) Stahl, two daughters: Mrs. Donald (Karen) Holsinger and Mrs. Andrew (Joyce) Kocis, both of Sandusky, Oh.; one son, Frank L. at home; one grandchild; and his parents Mr. and Mrs. Josiah W. Stahl Sr., of Somerset. He is also survived by three brothers: Josiah W. Stahl, Jr., Taylor, South Carolina; Harry Stahl, Austin, Tex.; and Robert Stahl, Warren, Oh.; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Brendle, Somerset. Friends will be received at the Bodenhorn and Shaffer Funeral Home, 310 S. Second Street, Apollo, Saturday from 7-9 p.m., Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday from 10-11 a.m., and from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. from the North Apollo Church of God, the Rev.
