  STAHL
  
    Harvey O. Stahl, 97, of Stoystown, died Jan. 5, 1990, at Maple
  Mountain Manor, Berlin.  He was born Aug. 2, 1892, in Quemahoning
  Township, son of Henry and Amanda (Sipe) Stahl.  Preceded in death by
  parents, three brothers and a sister.  Survived by these nieces and
  nephews: Frances Schrader, Frank Specht, married to the former
  Marguerite Meyers, and Merle Stahl, married to former Bess Stairs,
  all of Stoystown; Ruth, married to Carl Richter of Long Island, N.Y.;
  Dolores Berkebile, San Diego, Calif.; Robert and Ruth Stahl, both of
  Johnstown; and Earl Stahl of Yorktown, Va.  He was a retired interior
  decorator, musician and artist.  He was the oldest member of Kantner
  United Methodist Church.  He attended St. Paul's United Church of
  Christ, Stoystown.  He was an Army veteran of World War I and charter
  and life member of Robert P. Hite Post 257, American Legion,
  Stoystown.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Karyl J. Leslie officiating. 
  Interment, Oddfellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
