Born Sept. 16, 1905, in Somerset Township. Son of the late Clarence Clinton and Olive Grace (Barkley) Stahl. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Clifford, Merle and Paul Stahl. Survived by wife, the former Leora Grace Sweitzer, to whom he was married for 61 years; daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Mitchell of Somerset; grandchildren: Mrs. William (Susan) Conrad of Malvern, Jeffery W. Mitchell and Jennifer L. Mitchell, both of Somerset. Brother of Mrs. Walter T. (Mary) Walker of Garrett RD 1. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, where he was active as a Sunday School superintendent and on the Church Council. Mechanic for the former Gilmour Service Station and Somerset Gasoline Company for 30 1/2 years, retiring in 1975. School bus driver for the former McNelly Bus Co. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. George F. Mason Jr. officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, RD 6, Box 4521-A, Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Somerset County Home Health Care, 651 S.
