  STAHL
  
  Mrs. Josephine Rhoads Stahl, long time resident of Somerset, died on
  June 6, 1973.  She was born in Beaver City, Neb., in 1890, a daughter
  of Samuel and Elizabeth Houpt Rhoads.  She graduated from Peru State
  Normal School, majoring in kindergarten science.  In 1916 she married
  Harvey E. Stahl, a local jeweler.  She was a member of Trinity
  Lutheran Church, was active in the Fortnightly Club and the Music
  Club.  She is Survived by her husband, one brother, Grover of Beaver
  City, Neb.; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin (Josephine) Armstrong, of Denver,
  Colo.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Graveside services
  will be conducted at the Husband Cemetery at 10 a.m. Saturday by the
  Rev. H. James Meyers under the direction of the Hauger Funeral
  Home.  Family requests no flowers.
