  Mrs. Mary Magdalene Stahl, 83, of Somerset RD 3, died Oct. 3, 1977,
  in Mercy Hospital, Johnstown.  She was born Feb. 12, 1894, in
  Somerset County, a daughter of the late Franklin P. and Emma Frances
  (Bassinger) Daniels.  She was also preceded in death by a daughter,
  Emma Faidley, two sons, Henry and the Rev. Francis, four brothers and
  four sisters.  Survived by her husband, Josiah W. and these children:
  Josiah W. Jr. of Taylor, S.C.; Harry E., Austin, Tex.; Robert,
  Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Robert (Betty) Brendle, Somerset RD 2; 17
  grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.  She was a sister of Samuel
  and Leonard, both of Warren, Ohio; and Mrs. John Kring of Apollo. 
  Member of First Church of God, Sipesville.  Death ended a marriage of
  61 years.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted 1:30
  p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Carl Home officiating.  Interment, Beam's
  Cemetery.
