NORMAN STAHL

  Norman Stahl, a resident for many years of Beachly Street, Meyersdale, died 
Wednesday morning, March 1, in the Wenzel Hospital following a ten-day illness.  
He was 78 years old, having been born in Meyersdale, June 6, 1865, the son of 
Henry and Susanne (Hauger) Stahl.
  He is survived by three sons, Elmer of Meyersdale, Carl of Johnstown and Harry 
of Holsopple.  These are the children by his first wife, Eliza (Gnagey) Stahl.  
His second wife, Annie (Lichty) Stahl, a daughter of Jacob D. Lichty, preceded 
him in death about a year.  He is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Zura 
Walker, Pine Hill; Mrs. Della Walker, Somerset, and one living in Baltimore.
  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 in the Church of the 
Brethren, Rev. DeWitt Miller officiating, followed by interment in Union 
Cemetery.  Funeral arrangements are in charge of H. R. Konhaus.
